The White Abbey Ballroom was created to fill a genuine and
significant gap in Bradford’s events landscape.
Bradford is one of the most culturally rich and diverse cities
in the United Kingdom. Its Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi, and
Arabic communities have deep roots, strong traditions, and a
well-established culture of celebrating weddings with ceremony,
pride, and meticulous attention to every detail.
The venue began life as the iconic Whetley Hill building. It has
been completely overhauled and purpose-built to create an Asian
wedding venue Bradford families across Yorkshire, Lancashire,
and Greater Manchester can celebrate at with genuine pride.
The 1.92 acre site, in the epicentre of Bradford’s Asian
community, has been face-lifted to create a purpose-built venue
for weddings, conferences, parties, and presentation events. It
boasts 140 parking spaces managed by dedicated attendants, an
Arabia-inspired exterior with grand entrance and staircase,
subtle exterior lighting, and front-facing round arches that
make it a dream venue for any event.
